As someone who has had great Texas BBQ, my expectations were low for Rudy's here in CRP. Those expectations were met and exceeded. Chose the chicken. It was well seasoned & flavorful and their spicy BBQ sauce was also good (not too sweet!). The beans were also well done. Plus, they have great breakfast tacos.

The atmosphere was nice. The employees were all very nice and professional. The brisket however was extremely dry and required a ton of bbq sauce. Also don't expect to order fries for your kids. It's not on the menu at all.

With an extensive selection and attentive staff, this is a must try if you're I'm Corpus Christi. The long can get long but the staff is very efficient and it moves quickly. The meat is smoked but not overpowered by it. The prices are also very reasonable.

Great food all around! Always tender and fresh. Love the pulled pork and the brisket the best. Never have to wait long for my food. Staff is friendly and you always get greeted on the way in. Awesome country store vibe. Enjoyable experience
